Hi All,

I Need some information.

We (me and my wife) have been living in Germany since 4,5 years. I am a GC and my wife has been with me from the beginning. My wife just completed her degree and got an offer of a trainee position in a company.

How the work permit things work for her ?
As I understand she has to apply for the WP at the Auslanderbehörde...and it shouldnt take long to process...GC spouse having a job contract and living in DE over 1 year are entitled to have a work permit.

Could some one please confirm/clarify it ?

The job is in Munich and the local Landratsamt is Fürstenfeldbruck.

Because she stayed since more than 4 years in Germany, she just has to go and take a not restricted work permit by this: http://www.aufenthaltstitel.de/beschverfv.html#9 See there (1) option 2.
