I was born in Germany, How do I go about getting my citizenship even if my parents are not German. I also have the documentation to prove it.

Your parents should be living in Germany for more than 8 years and holding presently a residency status in Germany.

Until 2000 Germany did not recognize "jus solis", so if you were born before that date it will be nearly impossible to claim citizenship on any grounds.

I think if he/she posted on the forum, he/she must be older than 6, so born before 2000 :-) logic, right?

In addition to what NoBody wrote...

Even if your parents are german nationals and you are not living with them in germany and you are above 16 years old.....there is no-way you can get german citizenship, since you dont fulfill the residency requirement (8 years) for citizenship.
