Hello All,

I want to vacate my home at the end of January 2011. My contract says that I need to give 3 months notice period. So is it okay if I give kundigung on 2nd November instead of 30th October 2010. Or is it always necessary to give notice period before the beginning of the month?

Please let me know your views.

you can give a notice till 3rd working day of the month. In that case the month is considered.

Hi Savion,

Thanks for backing up my case. I gave kuendigung to my house owner on 2nd November, but she was reluctant and then I said that I have the right to give kuendigung until end of 3rd working day of the month as you had mentioned earlier. She agreed and accepted it. Thanks a lot.
