Dear All,

I am next week flying from Germany to out of European Union. I would like to know what is the amount of cash which one can take with, without having to declare it. I would appreciate if someone can provide me link to some law.

There is no limit taking out Euro from any european country. The only limit is imposed by destination country. Amount in excess of certain limit has to be declared at custom.

Hi,
As per my knowledge,their is no restrictions on the import or export of local or foreign currency. I think the amounts exceeding €10,000 or equivalent must be declared if travelling from or to a country outside the European Union.
