I hear about a rule where Niederlassungserlaubnis is issued directly for highly qualified IT professionals who have a gross salary of 84K EUR/p.a or higher. Is this correct? If yes, kindly advice what is the procedure to be followed to get this permit along with Duaerafenthalt.

Any reference to this rule would be great.
