Can any one help me to know the most popular satellites to access free to air (FTA) indian channels for Movies/ Songs.

Most of the Indian channels are using Hotbird. One has to keep the satellite at 13°east. As I have some problems with my digital receiver, I dont know the recent free to air Indian channels that are available. I will be repairing my receiver soon, and after that I will let you know about the latest FTA channels available. BTW as far as I have experienced, most of these FTA channels are free only for a limited period and later on they make it as a payable channel.

U should select diff satellites, most common for indian and UK channels are Hotbird And Astra and also Eurobird.
For just viewing FTA Channels click for FreeToAir in the above given options.
Now a days u get ZeeMusic, B4U Music,ATN, SabTv free.Even Vectone Hindi and Urdu.
