Dear Trust,
I am on hartz iv. In Feb I was supposed to file a renewal of hartz iv. They have asked me to show them bank statement for Jan and Feb.
My account balance is at the end of Feb was is 2000 Euros.
Will this in any way affect the hartz IV.

Just for the information I have a job offer. This job will start in April or May so I am currently saving up for moving to a new country and desperately need the hartz IV for this and the next month.

Then better take out these 2000 as for the Arbeitsamt people you are a rich man and they will find excuse not to give you hartz IV.

You do not have to worry because if you do not have other big asset then 2000 Euros is part of Freiebetrag. Good luck to you!
