Hello,
I have recently changed my company in December and I have submitted my tax card for 2009 to the new company. But the new company also wants my tax card for 2008 for their audit purpose to happen in 2009 April. For that I have to contact my previous emplyer to retun the same. But I doubt whether my previous company will send me my tax card for 2008. Can any one tell me - whether it is legal for me to demand the tax card form 2008 from my previous company as I have left the company. If my previous company does not return my tax card for 2008, can I get a duplicate from my local tax office, if so what is the procedure.
