Hi all,

I am GC holder since 1.1.2002 (visa starting from 1.1.2002 till 31.12.2006) and today I went to Ausländerbehörde to get BE or EG. And the lady over there didn’t have any information about new law and nor her boss. Though I told her ever single word of the law but her final reply was that I cannot have BE or EG. All I have to do is wait until 5 years is finish and then MAY BE I will get NE but for that I have to do integration course first.

first you do not need integr. course acc. to §104 AufenthG.

second you can get Eg or Be easier after 1.1.06 cos you will have 3 y in D than

Why didnt you go there with the printouts of the law texts ? if they dont have a clue, they have at least the ability to read and hopefully to understand..

so what.. defend yourself, show them the lawtexts.. talk to the boss of ABH.. give them a WRITTEN petition with references to the law and request a written answer for the refusal.. and before I forget it.. RT(F)F..

I am in D since last 4.5 years. (07.2001 – 1.1.2002 as trainee) = ½ year
And then almost 4 years since 1.1.2002 till dec 2005

Yes I did the same think. Because after the lady went to her boss to discuss my case her bosses ask her to refer to law book... And at that time I show her every law texts in written in HER BOOK AND THE DOC I brought with me. But again she refuse . I don’t know if she was afraid or what.

and send it to ABH. when they have something on paper thay are much more soft because they know that everything written is usefull on court.
