Health insurance for parents

Dear All,
I am inviting my parents to visit us. My intention 'they come for 3 months and stay with us'.
The German Embassy in my country asked for health insurance for my father and mother.

Please advise me from where and how I can buy insurance for them with reasonable price for three months.

There are two confusions as well.
1. I do not know the exact period. Because getting visa could be leangthy for indefinite time. So for which period I buy the insurance, can I shift the period after buying the insurance.

2. In the worst case if they do not get visa, do I get back the money I payed for insurance.

Thanks in advance.
Regards-

This question is answered by me several times in this forum.
Very easy! Look for allianz agent(vertreter) in your location and buy health insurance for your parents and send them by post. It costs around €1,85 each day per person depending on the age so enquire for exact costs. The contract, which will be made is transferable but you should talk to your agent first to make a new one after your parents arrive in Germany by giving them a copy of your visa. Usually if your parents do not get visa they will refund your amount partially and this question your agent will answer you better.
