Hello,

iam planning to visit India for 1 month in Dec'09.
Now a days in India there is a more possibility to get infected with different viruses like Dengue Fever....

My question is:

1. is there any Vaccination available in Germany for Dengue Fever as i have TK H.Insurence.

2. anyway i will visit my Hausarzt, before that i want to know u r experience with Vaccinations that i need for India env.

3. if i ask my Hausartz i guess he will recommend me to take min 2-4 Vaccinations. is it advisable as i grown up in India and since 6 yrs living in Germany?

thank you

Mr. sinu,

i think you are still growing!
other than worrying about dengue, maleria, loveria.... you must consider taking atleast swine flu SHOT and as a matter of caution, Take the shot on right arm if you are left handed!!
;-)
good luck

I think, about Dengu--> Your Indian doctor can help rather than here as it is not well known here.

By I way, I am hearing some different negative news regarding swine flue vacine. Talk with your doctor before taking it.

Hi,

I am also travelling to india in December.
unfortuantely in Germany Swine Flu shot is not available and only provided for patients already suffering or very old persons who are prone to swineflu/has H1N1 symptoms.

any ideas on this issue would help me as well.

Regards,

Supo
