Dear All,

I am writing  in regards to a query regarding a work permit / Blue card.

I am an Indian citizen been offered a job in Germany, with a pay band required for work permit. I am been offered a job in IT specialist field, One of the clause is to have a University degree which is German equivalent / Recognised university. Will 3 years Bachelors degree in commerce be okay?  I saw the university name OSMANIA UNIVERSITY  and Degree Name- Bachelors of Commerce  it in the list of Anabin as regognised.

I have done my Bachelors in Commerce and not in Information Technology (IT). However the job offered to me is in Information Technology - IT (SAP ) as i have IT experience in SAP (more than 4 years) and i am a SAP Certified Professional , Is it mandatory to have the degree in the job related field to get work permit ?? I have done SAP certification and a specialist in the offered job role.
 
Is there any rule or law which states the Work permit can be issued in consideration of the work experience in relevant field??


Will i be granted a work permit? Do i need to apply for a work permit or a Blue card

Question : I was told that I am not eligible for a blue card from here and i need to apply for a long term,  I was falling under  37- 44k euros/yr ? How bout you ?

I am not sure whom to contact in this regard. so does that mean you cannot get a work permit?? or is it that you cannot apply for a Blue card now.

In my case i was told the company will apply for Blue card for me. I am not been given a concrete pay band offer- But i suppose it will be as applicable for Blue card rules which is 48k Plus/yr.

which palce are you applying your work permit from??

I applied from Delhi , so far what I have understood is that  for now I need to apply for a long term visa (which i did). Then apply for a blue card from DE. ( I am not confirmed thou)

Also i am really not sure, if  non IT graduation degree will play a spoilsport or not , even thou we have 4-8 yrs of experience in IT ? They above 3 links does give some hope.

Have you applied for your visa ? If not may be during the document submission you can ask Consulate on the same ,if its gng to be long term or Blue card .
