Hi all,

I am an Indian, doing M.Sc. computer science and currently working as WerkStudent at Mainz since 1st September. In my WerkStudent contract, its written as "I can work either till the end of studies or till the end of november". I'll finish my masters course by 3rd week of november. My current company wants to give me fulltime employment from 1st december.

When i called Ausländerbehörde, they said that I need to give them:
1) Filled "Antrag auf arbeitserlaubnis"
2) Work contract paper
3) Completed Diplom certificate.

Now I've three questions:

1) What form do my future employer required to fill? Is it "Antrag auf arbeitsnehmigung?" If yes, is it enough to take that filled application by myself?
2) As I'll have just 2 weeks if I finish my course by the 2nd week of november, I am thinking to postpone my masters thesis defence(and thereby postponing the degree) around 1st week of december and ask my employer to make the fulltime employment from 1st January 2006. Will that new year(laws) be changed or any problems?
3) As far my knowledge, I cannot work if I am ex-matriculated from the university. So, I cant work as WerkStudent in the month of december?

update on the situation:

My employer confirmed that the new contract can be made from 1st January. Now I want to work as WerkStudent till the end of december. What do you think as wise? My current idea is:

To finish my course earlier(before the end of november) and go to ABH at the same time with the papers.

Question is: Would it be a problem to work as WerkStudent in the month of december?
