i have finished my m.sc. from a german university on january 2005, currently i am in uk on a working holiday visa. my german student visa has finished. can i apply for the german visa now from uk as i havent yet claimed my one year visa after passing? and if i get it how long it will be (upto jan 2006 or one year from now)?

any help will be appreciated and thanks in advance.

You should have taken the visa extension before you left for UK. I dont think you can extend ur visa for one year from UK. Since you say ur visa has expired then you have to take a visitors visa and come to germany and try your luck. But in all, it doesnt look promising
