Could someone please explain the procedure to extend the visa of Spouse. What are the documents that are needed ? I searched this site, didnt find much. I am sorry if it was already discussed, please point me to the thread in that case.

My wife got a visa for one year, which is dependent on my visa and also on my company. The exact wordings are:

"Erwerbstätigkeit nicht gestattet. Die Aufenthaltsgenehmigung erlischt mit Beendigung der Tätigkeit des Ehegatten als IT-Speyialist bei der Fa. XXXX AG. Keine weiteren gültigen amtlichen Eintragungen."

Ofcourse issued from Munich. I am here on GreenCard and my visa is valid for nearly one more year.

Is it possible to get a visa with "Erwerbstätigkeit gestattet." ?? What needs to be done for this ??

You can find the law there.

Basically she will get something depending on your visa. If you have at least "Beschäftigung erlaubt als IT-Fachkraft", she should get "Beschäftigung erlaubt". If you are here for more than 3 years, you can try to get yourself "Erwerbstätigkeit gestattet" and then she will get the same.

In your situation, because your visa is bound to the company, you should try to change this first in order to make things easier. This is anyway not the right visa for a GC, but at least "Beschäftigung erlaubt als IT-Fachkraft".
