Am New to this Forum. My husband is working in germany for the past 4 years 9 months. by March 20th he will be completing his 5 years period. He has paid the Social Security for all this period without Break.his Visa says that he has Independent work permit( no company Name on it).
My questions are;
1.Is there any advantage for him to go for blue card? / is he eligible for it.
2. Or should he only apply for NE AFTER one month?
3 . Is there any advantage for us with blue card (if at all he can get ) as am already in Deutschland and planning kids?( Er hat schon B1 deutsch prüfung (Goethe )bestanden und ich habe die deutschkenntnisse B2).

I was planning for applying for Individual WorkPermit for Germany under IT area as Manager/Business Dev.

Could you please confirm me if I can directly apply for Blue Card or do I need to procure Work Permit first and then later apply for Blue Card.
