Hi evereyone,

I have applied for spouse visa in Mumbai consulate. I have paid fees for marraige verification. I am wondering if the marraige verification takes place at both my parents and my inlaws house?? In my case , my parents stay in gulf while inlaws in mumbai. If they carry out verification at both places then how wud it proceed in my case?

Please reply if anyone has any idea abt this.

They might do that if they find something amiss.  In this case, they may ask for more information about your parents relatives, friends, neighbours, where they last resided in India.  They might ask embassy in Gulf to do the verification. In this case, it would cost more. In most cases, they will not.
