Hi All, 

I would like to know the Job opportunity for Mainframe engineers in Germany.

We are living in Berlin now and i have the blue card with me.

I am looking Job for my wife, she has 9 years of experience in Mainframe technologies (Cobol, DB2, e.t.c), currently she is working for her client in Denmark. 

she has the very basic German language skills.

Could anyone let me know how is the  job opportunity for her in Germany.

Hi,

AFAIK VW, some banks and insurance companies, EON and Lufthansa are actively using Mainframes. I would recommend to get the knowledge of new technologies through online courses and get certified.
