Can someone advise what are the rights of a NE holder in DE.

Also advise if a NE can sponsor his/her parent to live in DE for more than 3 months.

Does that mean that even a non-NE in DE can Invite their parents to live with him of 6 months or more. How is that possible as I learnt that ABH gives a so called legalised sponshorship letter for only 3 months.

Can a NE invite his parents to stay for more than 6 months (or a year). If yes, what are the formalities at ABH.

the embassy will give a visa for 3 months but you can extend it to 3 more months when nearing the end of the first visa.

No special requirement is necessary for that, you just have to have a good reason for doing so.

Thanks but can you also advise for my later part of the question i.e for NE.

you can extend it from ABH but it is not wise to do it. Next time when your parents will apply visa, the embassy in your country will hesitate/deny to issue one.

As imranahmadkhan said, having the visa extended in Germany at an ABH is not a wise thing to do.. this extension can be theoritically done.. but it is for very extreme conditions where the visa holder can not travel back because of his health conditions etc.. actually it is not your "right" to simply go to ABH and ask for another 3 months extension.. if ABH denies to give you a 3 months extension because of lack of good reasons then you can't do much about their decision.. so dont rely blindly on that option..
