hi all,

I and my friend live in a 64,00 m square apartment. The apartment contract is on my friends name. Can I call my wife using the same contract as he will be vacating the house once she comes here. My anmeldung is on same apartment.

1. House contract should be on your name, later u need to show that in Auslandebehorde.
2. and u need a bestatigung from u r owner that u r alone living in that apartment..

I think 2nd rule: satying alone is not necessary.

What matters is the size of the apartment and the contract should be on your name.

The contract should be in your name.

There is no need of any confirmation letter from House owner. (at least in my case)

The min size of apartment varies from city to city.
But in i think general Min size is somewhere between 13 - 18 sq.m per person.
