I am in Germany for little over an year now. My wife is here on a dependent visa and doesn't have a workpermit. She found a work from home option on internet (translation job) for a US based site. The pay for the work done would be in dollars and go to a paypal account. Would such internet jobs be considered "Schwarzarbeit"?

Might be a good question for an info4alien forum. I think it has to be reduced to USA-India tax treaties, whether your wife is supposed to pay taxes to USA only or to both USA and India (I assumed here that you come from India, if not, your home country). Most likely for Schwartzarbeit you have to work for a company that is based in Germany.
