Orientierungs kurs and Einbürgerungs test!!!!

Since the Einbürgerungs test has been made compulsory, is it mandatorial to visit the Orientierungs kurs to be eligible for citizenship with the 7 yr 'Gewöhnlichen Aufenthalt' criteria.

Yes it is..

It is actually not just the Orientierungskurs which you need for this "7 year thing", but the Integration Course which is composed of Orientierungskurs and Sprachkurs..

Thanks Lacrima for the answer.
Does that mean that I could take the the ZD B1 exam and club it with the Orientierungs Course to fulfill the 7 yr requirement.

Eventhough being in Germany since 8.75 years, my first 2 yrs of Stundenthood is not considered in Bayern as 'Gewohliches Aufenthalt'.

Schade und Trauer.
