I will not have my job from 01.01.2004 - I was fired. I have been here in Germany since last 4 years working as GC holder. This for me is really a shitty situation.

It's really sad to hear that, more in a day like today when people are already starting to celebrate.

To get PR, you must fill the requirements that we all know but iwht today's law proposal passed, you get a slight better chance to get a new job becasue sometimes, people are reluctant to give to GCs jobs because of the time limit, but now, this could be over.

I think you should not worry much. You should inform this to arbeitsamt. As was discussed in this forum previously, that when one is arbeitlose, his rente is paid by arbeitsamt or so. This means your 60 rente will be complete and your 5 years will be completed after 1 year. Hence, PR should not be a problem. So your should try to keep cool, relax a bit and try to find another job. I am sure you will find one.
