Can anyone help me what is the fee for document verification for spouse visa Germany in Mumbai Conslulate . It is asked in the checklist to bring the DD but the amount is not mentioned there ,I am bit confused here 

Verification fees can be up to INR 45,000. But you only have to pay it if the visa officer thinks that a verification of your marriage is required. You will be informed about whether or not you have to pay for verification on the day of your appointment. The visa officer will also inform you about the amount, it can be 45K or lesser.

In some cases, they also ask for the verification money after the day of the visa appointment. In that case, they would inform you via email. If that happens, your visa processing will take 3 months from the date on which you submit the DD for verification. 

So, you don't need a DD for verification on the day of your appointment. However, you might need another DD of INR 6000 to pay for visa processing fees. That's only if your spouse isn't a German national, though. If your spouse is Indian or of any other nationality than German, take a DD of INR 6000 along. They will give you time for submitting the DD for verification, in case it's required.
