dear all,

There has been posted lots of messages related to document translation in this forum. Just wondering could not find something related to attestation. Once the document has been translated (e.g. from German to English), how to make it legal document? The normal procedure is to get it Notarized. Is it possible to get it notarized in home country, like India? and still it is acceptable to other consulates like UK or Canada? Or this must be notarized by consulate in Germany?
I am looking forward for your thoughts !

I know that it is different from country to country for german standard (document from X translated to german) sorry can't help much.
