for the document to submit alongwith your application "Antrag auf Aufhebung der Auflage" when you got BE? The third or the fourth option?

Is it sufficient that we apply online, or should we follow it with a written application?

I did not need it.

That is because you applied for the "Aufhebung" with the reason "that you stayed legally in DE for 4 years".

But in my case I have been here for just 3 years and 3 months, and so I have to apply with the reason: "I have worked for 36 months & paid 36 Renten".

I don't know, wether "-" is joking or not, but what he wrote is correct:
If your employer has reported all your "Rentenbeiträge" to BFA, then it is enough to choose option 1 and you'll get a confirmation about all the "beiträge" you paid up to december 2004.
If something is missing, then you have to apply for clarification of your Konto (option 2). You will get a long form you have to fill and send back to BFA.
