Again i am planning to come back to Germany (after one and half year). Can some can tell me if 1) Am i gonna start from scratch? 2) does my wife had to wait for 2 yrs to get her work permit? Yes you have to start from scratch. You even need a new visa to enter the country now. Normally 2 years...but your situation maybe unique. No one can give you concrete answers for that. So what made you turn back to Germany?
