Help needed!

Spouse can stay out of Germany for ">" than 6 months, YES

Alternar
Hi Friends,

Hope you might be aware of this rule, nevertheless i wanna broadcast it.

Spouse can return back to Germany(for any reason) without Hiccup's after > than 6 months(irrespective of Type of VISA). Under the following condition.

1. Any time before the VISA expires.

FAQ
1. Should i contact AB or .... ?
Yes, as of before you will contact AB and make an appointment. You will end up landing in Ordungsamt(don't panic).

2. Why should i contact AB ?
As of rule we can't stay > 6 months out of germany(thanks, we all know about this hahahah. Tell us some thing new buddy). AB will issue a recommendation letter, which has to reproduced at immigration check.

2. Should i reproduce any proof to get recomendation letter?
No need, but depends on the respective person.
(In my case they didn't ask anything).

3. What the hell is on the recommendation letter ?
a. Name/DOB/Visa duration of returning person.
b. Reason for the stay(> 6 months).
c. And German Rule no.

This whole data is entering in your profile(System) so that immigration guys cross check it.

Send this letter to your spouse, so that she can reproduce it.

That's it buddy

Any comments are appretaited.

Have fun

Thank you for posting this useful information.
Also can you please post the law number that they mentioned in the letter. It will be helpful if somebody deals with an unfriendly person in AB.

Hello,
Thanks for the information..
I would also be interested to get an answer for the question posted by Mathew...
I was planning for a short visit of my wife for 2-3 days in 1st week of june just to ensure her visa is not expired. We are waiting for the visa of our newly born daughter in India and its possible it may be delayed another few weeks till we get visa .

Regards..
Girish
