i called karachi consulate today to inquire about my visa status...the lady said it has reached german office and they will contact my husband...my husband went to the foreign office today but they said they havnt received anything...my husband is saying there are many alien offices in hamburg but not sure which one to go and maybe he went to the wrong one..do anyone has any idea??please help required asap..

Because in Germany one ABH is responsible for a certain area.

He lives in peterstrabe and postal code is 21079

First of all no rocket sience is needed to locat ABH. Especially, your husband would be well aware of which ABH is relevant for that area, as he may have already got his visa from that specific office.
Peterstraße, Hamburg postal code is 20355 according to google maps, I tried to search any other peter street iin 21079 but found none......
You may also contact central ABH to ask for your documents if its not in regional office.....
Hope you will get the visa soon.
In worse case people have to wait for 6-12 months for clearence and process........

If the street is petersdorfstraße, then your ABH address will be in following:
Bezirksamt Harburg, Harburger Rathausplatz 1, 21073 Hamburg

But, before you have written Peterstraße, Hamburg postal code is 20355. If street is  petersdorfstraße, then the postal code will be 21079.
