Question for Detlef

Hi Detlef,

Just read messages from xadnan. I really feel sorry for such incidents. I would say this is cruel.

Mostly all for GC holders have such kind of bitter experiences from auslaenderbehoerde people. I am also one of them.

We have to be on their mercy because we cannot tell them that they are wrong. They simply don't listen.

Can't we do something against such cases so as to teach them a lesson. Can't we file a case against them. Not just to get our right and get our desired visa, but somthing which punishes them for not doing their job properly, or for unnecessary harassement. They are guilty of disturning many people's lives. This disturbance results in tension and depression. This further leads to other diseases.

Its something basic, they just can't trouble us like this. These people have become law makers. They are making wrong use of their position.

Guys,- I think we should spend some money and buy a voice recorder. We should record everytime the conversation in AB. This would help us to prove their wrong treatment. And may be this way they will not do anything which can become a proof against them.

Detlef, I am not sure if I was able to express my question properly. You have contacts with law firms, you are always ready to help people, you are always sympathetic towards unjustice done against GC holders.

Can you show some way.

regards,
GM

If there is max time alowed by law for some services than lawyer (z.B. from Detlef) can help someone in suing them for being too slow.

Hi GM,

it is the same for Germans and foreigners, GCs. It also happens, that Germans are mistreated by some officers and if you want to defend, you need the help of a lawyer.

Our laws are so complecated and there are so many of them, that even a 'specialist' like DvD has problems to know all of them. And as soon as the officials have to realize, that they have to deal with a lawyer, things are changing.

So my advice for such situations: First try to talk to the chief of the departement. If your German is not good enough ask a friend with German language to accompagny you.

If this does not help and your case is not big enough for the press, take a lawyer! But the lawyer must be specialized in the related area.

I would like to write more, but ... I am running out of time.

I just want to take the chance to say 'Thanks' to our 'Baby Face' DvD for posting so many helpful messages :-)

By till tomorrow

DVD,

sometimes it not only has to be so simple. good lawyers can find out ways. for an example, long time back i read that someone sued microsoft some million dollars. reason, he/she got some disease of fingers because of using keyboard from microsoft for a long time. recently, there was some talk of someone suing McDonalds, because he got fat by eating fast food from McDonalds. now these i see to be stupid reasons, but these people have guts and they do it.

i think german laws takes lot of care for human rights and i think that our auslaenderbehoerde problem can come under this category. it is kind of human right violation. unecessary harrassment.

I am sure, someday someone will take such action. Its only that we don't have right info and right lawyer. Like good doctors, its difficult to find good lawyer here.

Hi Detlef,

yes you are right. its also for germans. i know some people from other nations, (not GC) they also mostly face problems from AB. They simply go to lawyer, and after some struggel, they get their thing done. lawyers are happy as they get money from versicherung. beamters, does not have any effect. they receive letters from lawyers and then if still there is some gap to create trouble, these people try to do that, and then the lawyer again puts some points and so after sometime problem is solved. everybody has got used to this. such things are rusting germany.

You are very right detlef, i also applied this once. This bank lady was taking me very casually. She did not wanted to solve my problem instead she told me that I should go to main branch where I had opened my account. Initially, I got tensed and got out of bank. But I was quite angry. I returned and asked her "can i talk to your chef". then she got afraid and then very politely solved my problem.

then i learnt a lesson, everybody is afraid of chef :-) but i don't know about AB people. :-) i have never applied this with them. :-) may be next time

DvD is really good in posting helpful messages.

Hey GM (General Motors? :-)),

just wanted to tell you that this 'I want to talk to your chief' also 'works' with the AB people, I did that once in Mainz as they were causing some problems with my process to get my wife here, and it did work quite well. But I would advise you to use this tip only if you are fully assured you're in your right because the chief can take his worker's side if you don't do things properly.
