Born and raised in Germany, not living there anymore, but parents still have 'Aufenthaltserlaubniss' (had it for more than 4 years ). What does the law say about right to citizenship? Any age limits? Any lawyers you'd recommend to get in touch with? Thanks a lot.

Respuesta 6/07/04 17:06 en respuesta a Sue Man. you should first think about getting aufenthalt and after 8 years you can get citizenship without problems. but you are probably to old. there is some limit to return. i think after 18 it is to late. if you are not living there(De) you can never get citizenship. so try to get AE first
