Dear All,

I know this is a very common question but I am a little restless now .

I have applied German national visa for Employement on 20th April 2018. I have submitted all the docuemtns mentioned in checklist and few more supporting documents.

Now the issue is My employer anticipated that I might get visa in 1st week of may, I am afraid that they might revoke the offer since Visa processing is taking this long. I tried asking consulte's office and they said its under process. I didnt have a pre-approval since I am IT specialist and my salary is more than 52k Eur , Can this be a bottleneck because My employer had contacted the Auslanderbehorde and Arbeitsamt to confirm above information that I dont need a pre-approval. One more point , I was in germany for 2 years so does that make any difference , could this affect the time to get the visa ( May be for background checks for any criminal activity or some other thing ).

How long could it take to get the visa? approximately?

Hello Dhruvin, we are in same situation. Applied for work visa on March 1st week from Bangalore and still they say it’s under process. Yes we were also in Germany earlier and this may be a point which they will check. If you share your contact info it would be great and can share the updates. Have you guys got the Visa approval? I have aplied on 11th June and till now didnt hear back from bangalore embassy though there are cases where they revert back in a week. Just cant wait because of the pressure from my employer. Can you please share me mail id which we can followup with them so that I can get the status of mine.
