Hello,
I am going to complete 5 years in Germany next month & going for NE. I would like to know whether I can get NE or not as I don't know German. Is there anyway, I can get NE without knowing German or quickly can learn basic German to get NE. I came Germany in 2002, I heard from someone only person who came after 2005 has legal requirement to know German to get NE.

Alok,

German language skills are very important to get NE. there is no choice to bypass it. If you do not possess good language skills ( I mean sufficient verbal knowledge of German language), you may get extension of 1-2 years or depends upon your area ABH.

Take german language classes, you can even get 1 Euro per class sponsorship from BAMF. It will be easier later even you apply for the citizenship.
