my sis in law applied for a  Tourist VISA,  but it was denied

Well I had sent the Verflichtungserklärung , and she had all the  docs  necessary.

"der zweck und die bedingungen des beabsichtigten aufenthalts wurden nicht nachgewiesen"

can   anyone please tell  what is  exactly   expected by the consulate in this case.

secondly the VISA ofice does not   communicate, everthng  goes thr'  VFS  Global.

She has taken yet another interview  this  Tuesay on  28th Nov.

Make sure the cover letter clearly mentions the intention of the visit to Germany.

there are 9 reasons under which they can deny the visa. 
they say that the purpose and the conditions for anticipated visa were not demonstrated. 
Make sure that you explain the purspose of her visit clearly in the invite. Does your relative have a job or any binding ties to india. this has to be demonstrated, Vepflichtungserklärung alone wont help much.
