HI all

I heard there is 2 kind of attestation for marriage certificate.

case 1,
Which can be done in 1 day .Here we need to get notarized our marriage certificate and
HOME AFFAIRS attest saying notarization is true.

case 2,
which will involve police verification, Take some weeks or months before gettign attested.
All embassies doesnt accept Case 1 ,as said byone of my friend from home affairs department.


Is it true?

I actually went to ABH before my visa was expiring, So the lady gave me 2 months of visa extension.

Then she asked for soem documents like lattest salary slip,letter from company and of possible submit a letter from company about your german skills
( stating that all ur clients speak english and german language is not much needed for our kind of work.you are during a good job even with german customers)

basically they need a police verification which took 7 weeks for me.

Exactly.

You need case #2 for German visa. case #1 is usually for all the middle east countries, and is not accepted by the German consulate since the "HOME AFFAIRS" also puts a remark "Not responsible for the contents" which confuses the German consulate.

Which office and with whom it has to be attested.....
