I got married in december 2008 then in had to change my job in march 2009. My wife applied for family reunion visa in april 2009. in may 2009 embassy refused the visa saying that i lack sufficient means of living in germany, i then asked ausländbehörde. they tld me that it is because u r in probezeit. now my probezeit is going to finish in 1 week time. my wife is going to apply again after i get my probezeit completed.

my current visa is less than 5 months now. i heard that even i need to ger my visa extende as if it is less than 6 monzhs then it will be an issue again for my wife visa. I went to ausläand behörde to extend my visa, the peron there said i can not get it extended until i have lessthan 3 months visa. now they gave me date in november. my wie is applying in september end. what do u guys say about this.

Does your wife have the german language certificate necessary for the visa? Did they do marriage verification?

Since the process takes some time, ask her to apply and wait for the decision. If the guy in ABH does not want to extend so early, there is nothing you can do to change his mind.
