I would like to ask about the possibility and procedure to file an Income Tax return for 2008 from India. After 4 years of stay in Germany, I left Germany in September 2008. Now , I would like to file my Income tax return for the year 2008. As, I worked for 9 months in 2008. I feel that i would get some return from my already paid Income Tax. Can anybody help me in this respect. Please tell me the procedure of filing tax returns from India.

If you have any friends still in germany, ask them to apply for tax return. I did it for one of my friend in 2007, who left germany.

If you get any tax returns, it will be transferd to your friends account in germany. He as to transfer it to you.
