Visa Questions

My husband's study visa for a Master degree, may allow me to work in German

Umschalten
Hi, my husband is applying to study in Germany a Master... I would like to know if as his wife, I would receive the same type of visa (student visa) and if that would allow me to work in Germany.

How many hours may I work? In which type of professions? I have a Marketing Degree.
I studied German for 2 years and went to Austria during a semester for studies abroad.
We are both Mexicans.

Should I apply for a working visa directly?

Thanks in advance!

are you in Mexico now?
if it is, then I have doubt if you as a spouse will get a visum at all.

in the last 4 years, I have heard difficulty for working visum person to get visum for the wife.
also I have heard student that was being asked by ABH person: do you come to germany to study? or to have fun? or to born children?

so I have big doubt if you can get visum as a student visum at all - please ask the embassy in mexico.

If you show sufficient financial proof for you and your spouse, you should be getting a visa. There are officially no rules to block spouses in to Germany.

Go and apply and do not be scared. It is more an attitude question here.

I did apply with my wife as a student and we both got visa's. (from India)

There is always a positive side in this world:-)

Good Luck:-)
