HI guys,

I got my so called 'BE' today. No hassles whatsoever in KVR munich. He asked me nothing, just new stamp with different text on it..

Not it says "unselbsständige beschäftigung gestattet. selbsständige tätigkeit nicht gestattet. keine weiteren gültigen amtlichen Eintragungen."

Can somebody comment how does it really help? What more one allowed to do with this visa?

It looks like that Bayern is much better than Hessen for BE applications.

I start to believe it is impossible to get BE in Hessen. Every single day i am listening one other horror story regarding BE applications in Hessen. I am not sure if i should apply myself or involve a lawyer ?

Thoughts ?

German states are big and it is not correct to generalize all the time. I also read here that someone had problems to get BE in BW but a friend of mine got it without problems in the same day and he is also in BW. I was issued "BE like" residence permit from the very first day and I am also in BW.
(Bottomline is: the people who usually get it without problems do not report it in internet forums but people who encounter problems do report it. That is why we read most of the time negative aspects)

"BE like" = Beschäftigung jeglicher art erlaubt
or
"BE like" = Beschäftigung bei IT bereich erlaubt

which one ?

"Erwerbstattigkeit nicht gestattet. Ausgenommen Tatigket als IT-Fachkraft" from the very first day which IMHO basicly means "Beschäftigung bei IT bereich erlaubt"
