I heard recently that there is a change in rules for UK Resident Permit holders(atleast Students) for visiting Germany without a visa.. Does anybody heard of this thing yet?

If it is true then German Resident Permit holders would not need a visit visa for UK either, right?

This news was confirmed by a check-in agent in Heathrow, airhostess and a student co-ordinator in a london university, but i am still to find solid information in this regard.

I wish it was true with other resident permit holders other than with student resident permit :-)

But the truth is i dont know and i doubt if the consulates will want to bankrupt themselves by extending it to other resident permit holders other than students :-(
