Hi,
I am asking this question in favour of my friend:-

He has got German citizenship. He got the chance to work in UK. Now the question is coming for his wife.

According to the Ordnungsamt, His wife will get NE by March 2012. Now the question is:-

1. How his wife will get NE on 2012 if she is living with her husband in UK from next month ?

2. How his wife also get German citizenship if she is living in UK with his husband.

Thanks in advance for your answer

Hi hellonews,

Its not impossible:

Do you know the thema, Haupt Anmeldung?

If both let their anmeldung here in Germany then Question-1 and Q-2 both are possible. Because lot of EU members live on their Haupt Anmeldung in Germany and they some times due to their work live out of the country.

Now another answer before question raise
NE can be cancelled if the holder of NE is more than 6 months out of Germany. But if the wife of your friend visit Germany once in 6-Months then no problem at all.

Be happy............ ;)

Hi Jalal,
How do you mean "visit Germany once in 6-Months then no problem at all"? Doesn't one required to keep a residence in Germany intact (having a registered accommodation), by showing that he or she "resides" in Germany, along with the unexpired "Anmeldung" at the appropriate Rathaus? How would that be practically accomplished?
