Hi,

did anyone of you applied for residence authorization (Aufenthaltsberechtigung) for the spouse.

My spouse has a Arbeitsgenehmigung/Aufenthaltsgenehmigung, which is very dependent of my visa. Plus, she has no right to work as independent (Selbständig).

Do you know some tips or information how to apply for this Aufenthaltsberechtigung?

What is my ausweis (Identity card?)?. I am a GC, and got my residence permit and arbeit paper & Lohnsteuerkart in january. But i do not have any identity card with photo etc., My question -Is there any photo identity card for GCs ? If, yes, where should i apply and what are all the procedures?

Hello Desmond,

There is no such Ausweis for GC's, most of the time our ausweis is our passport which we carry as a foreigner here. In passport also there is mentioned our status as GC.

To keep things simple, you can also get this sheet of paper attested (Beglaubigt) by some authorised officer.
