Hello Forum,

One of my friend (GC holder since 3 yrs. now) is going to marry a
university student here ( on student visa ).he would like to know,after the
marriage,whether his partner gets a work permit though she continous her studies here ?
or the work permit will be issued only after her studies are over ?
I would be greatful for your valuable response on this regard.

Both is possible.
But if she wants to work more than 90 h/month then Visa is better.
But she has to wait 1 year to get AE.

Hallo DVD,

You meant with the current Student Visa,She can work for
90 hrs./month. ? I happend to read a post long before in this forum,if
i remember it correctly,the post said ..the 1 yr. waiting time for the
spouse WP is counted from the day his/her partner's entry in Germany
as GC holder ? I don't know,whether it is correct ? but i believed
to have read it long before in this forum ...please correct me if
i understood wrongly.

why dont you ask your friend to write in this forum?

I think it is counted from the day she entered Germany with Visum or Wedding day.
