Hello All,
I have submitted my long term visa for Germany on 12th June along with ZAV approval.
Now it is 7th week and there is no status received for visa.
At the time of application visa consular officer in Mumbai told me that it may take up-to 90 days.
 
When I enquired through e-mail they have intimated that Feedback of the German domestic authorities is still pending.
I have added their communication below.
Is there any way to accelerate the process as I was expected to join my new assignment at Munich starting from 1st August?

The visa application process involves participation with various German authorities. Feedback of the German domestic authorities is still pending.
You will be informed as soon as a final decision comes through.
 
Please note that the processing might take up to 12 weeks, and in some cases, wherein verification is involved; which further my take up to 8 to 12 weeks, even longer.
 
The German Consulate General has no means of speeding up the process. Therefore, please do refrain from further inquiries with regards to status of your application.

It can happen. Since this July/Aug are month of Holidays time. So may be your case handling officer went on holidays(abt 3 weeks). So the delay is common.

Try to stay calm and soon you will get the approval. Wish you good luck.

It also depends on your previous history of stay in Germany. You have been already stayed in Germany?
As you have provided ZAV approval so it anyways will speed up process.
Can you please share E- Mail id where you got this reply from consulate.  I am also wating for same.

No DEX, Still I am waiting.
What about you? Did you receive approval?

Not yet for me and Waiting for same . Today I have dropped them mail thorugh contact form on their site.Lets see if they provide any response. Keep posted in case you get approval.

I am much much younger than you as its the 2nd week of waiting for me and you seem to have been waiting for longer. I am nearly refreshing my mailbox every 10 minutes (even on holidays), so I can not imagine how you are holding up. 
But, many thanks Moon for giving an idea. 
And many thanks Smita for sharing the email address. I had already sent a query via the online contact form like Dex last week.
It is definitely not good, but atleast a bit comforting to know that there are other people in the similar situation.

Congrats Smita. I have also received approval last week. Do you have any idea where we can search accommodation specifically with Indians.

How long did it take ,to receive approval mail from german conslate from the day u have applied.please share the info sir ,

Generally within 2 week people get confirmation e-mail.
In my case this took 11 Week.
This depends on which month you applied.

@S B it still is a long time.. Did you previously stay in Germany? Was your application eligible for Blue card?

Will previous stay in Germany an advantage or Disadvantage? like will it delay the process?
