Hello,
My wife and two children currently live in germany and i live in australia. I am wanting to apply for a german spouse visa to live with them. The only problem is i have some criminal convictions here in australia. will i be granted the spouse visa with crininal convictions or is that an automatic refusal. convictions are : Drug possession, wilfull damage, common and serious assault, stealing. I have called the embassy here in australia and they can not help me. how serious are they (The Embassys)on criminal convictions and granting visas. Has anybody been granted a spouse visa with criminal convictions? Or no of anyone? PLEASE HELP.
