URGENT..!! Spouse visa-Mumbai consulate

Hello,

My wife submitted her visa application at Mumbai consulate on 18th January 2017. The visa officer accepted the application and inspected the marriage certificate and marriage photo album.

Now its six weeks since we submitted the visa application but have not received any email or letter from the relevant offices. I enquired in the ABH Dortmund, and they informed me that they still have not received my application.

Meanwhile, I contacted Bundesverwaltungsamt, Köln and they informed me that they have sent the application to Dortmund on 14th February. There I do not know if there is something wrong with the application process and why is it taking so long for the documents to reach Dortmund from Köln?

Has anyone faced this situation? I have not even got any email for marriage verification, is that normal?
