Dear All,

Can someone tell me if Daueraufenthalt EG and NE are different residence permit or same?

I have completed 5 years in germany and meeting the criteria of permenant residenceship. But i still do not have clear cut idea if Daueraufenthalt EG and NE are the same or different.

If different, can you explain the benefits of each.

I saw various threads for DG and NE, but could not make out the exact difference of the term.

I would be really thank ful if some one of you could help me here.
