Can one apply for NE if in probation period (due to job change)?

regrettably I don´t agree with Stutt23.

One of the important points of NE is having a sure income.

§ 9 Niederlassungserlaubnis - 2. point

"sein Lebensunterhalt gesichert ist"

Sometimes the people in ABH don´t like you apply during your proof time.

Maybe is a good idea to pass by ABH and simply ask.
But don´t you worry. If is not now, maybe you can wait to finish your Probezeit and apply after, are only a few months!

Now a days even for normal visa extension (AE or BE) the people in KVR asking many documents. So i think they will not be much willing to give NE during probezeit.

I agree with YO1 - at best it will reduce your chances of getting the NE if you state that you are still on probation. I would not risk by applying.
