Place to stay in between Stuttgart and Pforzheim

Hello all,

I got a job in Germany and is looking for a ideal location to stay. I work 4 days in Stuttgart and 1 day in Pforzheim. The rent in Pforzheim is less, but the place is not that exciting. Stuttgart on the other hand is good, but the rent is very high. So I am looking for a place in between these two cities (closer to Stuttgart). I am thinking of Leonberg. Would this be a good choice? My preferences would be good access to AutoBahn (A8) and a good kindergarten for my son. Please advise me on this.
