What is the procedure of applying for German work visa from Pakistan?

Hello,

I am residing in Pakistan. Recently got a job offer from Germany. I want to apply for the visa but I cannot figure out what things will be required by the German embassy. I tried to gather information online but the only thing I could find was this link:

According to the link, I would be needing German bank account, proof of language skills etc? It doesn't make any sense. Or am I completely looking in the wrong direction?

My employer is going to courier me the employment contract. What else would I be needing in order to get the visa?
